Technology Consulting Partner Gilbert Trinchera has been named the Outstanding Eastern Visayan for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Outstanding Eastern Visayans Awards (OEVA) 2026, held on 31 July at The Tropics at MacArthur Park in Palo, Leyte. Organized by the Department of Tourism Region VIII, the awards recognize individuals whose leadership, innovation, and service continue to shape Eastern Visayas. As a pioneer OEVA awardee, Trinchera dedicated the honor to his family, mentors, colleagues, hometown of La Paz, Leyte, and everyone who supported his journey. He will also donate the award’s cash prize to his chosen charity, supporting children and future innovators.
