Julita, Leyte \u2013 October 26, 2025<\/em> \u2014 The Municipality of Julita marked another step toward empowering its residents as Municipal Mayor Hon. Irvin \u201cToytoy\u201d R. Dy<\/strong> witnessed the opening of a new batch of trainees<\/strong> under the TESDA Carpentry NC II certification program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program aims to equip participants with essential carpentry skills, opening doors to better livelihood and employment opportunities both locally and abroad. The initiative reflects the municipality\u2019s continued commitment to skills development and community empowerment<\/strong> through partnerships with government training institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Dy commended the dedication of the town\u2019s Public Employment Service Office (PESO)<\/strong>, led by Ma\u2019am Elena Cantero<\/strong> and Ma\u2019am Myuka Narca<\/strong>, for their proactive efforts in ensuring that Julita residents have access to technical and vocational training programs<\/strong> that build self-reliance and sustainable income sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TESDA Carpentry NC II course provides hands-on training in construction fundamentals, including woodworking techniques, safety standards, and project management\u2014skills that are highly in demand in today\u2019s workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
