This is to invite everyone to the 2019 Philippines Australia Friendship Day Celebration on 18 May 2019, Saturday, 6pm at Pabico Club 55, 1/1 Mt. Druitt Rd., Mt. Druitt, NSW, Australia.
This annual celebration is aimed at further strengthening relationship of both countries that have shared history, values and traditions. This relationship is demonstrated in programs such as development assistance, immigration issues, regional and security cooperation as well as trade and investment.
Formal relations between Philippines and Australia were established when Australia opened a Consulate General in Manila on 22 May 1946.
The issuance of Presidential Proclamation Number 1282 institutionalises the celebration of Philippines Australia Friendship Day every year.
This event is jointly organised by AUSVISAYAN, AUSMINDANAO and AUSLUZON Multicultural Communities.
