Kanta Binisaya grand final choral competition will be held on 11 June 2024.
The Department of Tourism Regional Office 8 through its Regional Director Karen S. Tiopes announces that eight (8) choral groups will be competing during the Kanta Binisaya Grand Final Choral Competition that will be held on June 11, 7:00 pm at People’s Center and Library, Tacloban City.
From 19 original entries, the eight (8) choral groups that are selected to perform the musical pieces of Eastern Visayas are the following:
– Calbayog Chamber Voices (Calbayog)
– Cebu Normal University Chorale (Cebu)
– Coro Recoleto (Bacolod)
– Koro Seraphim (Tagbilaran)
– SLSU Glee Club (Sogod)
– SNSU Chorale (Surigao)
– University of San Carlos Choristers (Cebu)
– Vox Minore Chorum (Talisay)
Cash prizes of P100,000.00, P80,000.00 and P60,000.00 is at stake on this choral competition.
Everyone is invited to watch Kanta Binisaya Grand Final. Admission is free. No ticket is required.
