Kuratsa is a traditional Filipino folk dance that is popular in the Eastern Visayas region, particularly in the islands of Leyte, Samar and Biliran. It is an integral part of the regionβs cultural heritage and is often performed during fiestas, weddings, and other community celebrations.
Kuratsa is primarily a courtship dance that mimics the playful and romantic pursuit between a man and a woman. The male dancer typically tries to impress the female through flirtatious and sometimes humorous movements. END (EVCHub)
