The SevenEight Dance Crew from Ormoc City showcased their talent and creativity during the recently concluded Liberation Hip Hop Dance Competition held in Palo, Leyte. The group captured the crowd and the judges’ attention with their dynamic choreography and powerful stage presence, earning them the Best in Production Number award and a cash prize of ₱5,000.00.
In addition to this special recognition, the SevenEight Dance Crew also secured fourth place overall in the competition. They received a trophy, a certificate, and a ₱15,000.00 cash prize, presented by Palo Mayor Matin Petilla alongside municipal officials during the awarding ceremony.
The Liberation Hip Hop Dance Competition was among the featured activities celebrating Palo’s rich cultural heritage and the spirit of freedom, unity, and creativity among the youth. The event gathered dance groups from various parts of Leyte and beyond, each showcasing their passion and artistry in hip hop performance.
