TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines – Residents across Eastern Visayas are invited to take part in the annual blood donation drive organized by Bombo Radyo Tacloban, dubbed “Dugong Bombo 2025: A Little Pain, A Life to Gain.” The community event will be held on November 15, 2025, at Robinsons North, Tacloban City, Leyte.
The bloodletting activity aims to encourage volunteerism and raise awareness about the life-saving importance of donating blood. It is part of Bombo Radyo’s long-standing advocacy to support local hospitals and the Philippine Red Cross in maintaining sufficient blood supply for patients in need across the region.
Everyone—from first-time donors to regular participants—is encouraged to join this noble cause. Donors are reminded to get enough rest, eat healthy meals before the activity, and bring a valid ID for registration.
