Leyteña Christina Vanhefflin to Represent Philippines at Miss Intercontinental 2025 in Egypt

Christina Vanhefflin of Leyte, crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas Intercontinental 2025, is set to represent the Philippines on the global stage as she heads to Egypt for the Miss Intercontinental 2025 pageant on January 29.

The international competition will be held at the Luxury V Resort on the Red Sea in Sahl Hasheesh, Egypt, where Vanhefflin will vie against nearly 60 women from different countries around the world.

Vanhefflin, 20, is of German descent and hails from Babatngon, Leyte. She is currently a freshman Psychology student at the Asian Development Foundation College and brings with her professional media experience as a news anchor for the regional Central Luzon Television network, CLTV36.

Her journey to the international crown is marked by several notable achievements in pageantry. She was named Miss Leyte Liberation 2024, emerged as second runner-up in Mutya ng Buahanan 2025, and first runner-up in Mutya han Samar 2025. She later clinched the title of Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2025 during the finals of the 57th Mutya ng Pilipinas 2025.

Ahead of the competition, Vanhefflin expressed gratitude and called for unity and support from Filipinos worldwide. “As I prepare to raise our flag in Egypt on January 29, I hope you’ll join me once again, one heart, one voice, one Philippines,” she shared on Facebook.
