The Local Government Unit of La Paz, Leyte, through the Local Youth Development Office, honored outstanding young people, youth leaders, and organizations during the 2nd Pasidungog ha mga Batan-on han La Paz 2026 on August 27, 2026. The celebration recognized achievements in academics, entrepreneurship, sports, journalism, leadership, community service, and other fields. Among those honored were Eastern Visayas awardee for entrepreneurship and innovation Gilbert T. Trinchera, Summa Cum Laude graduate Ryv Biensent Daclizon Gabor, and LET Top 7 achiever Mark Anthony E. Yu. Outstanding SK leaders, councils, youth organizations, and Latin Honor graduates were likewise recognized for excellence and service to the community.
